SURFING SEYCHELLES
SURF HOUSE offers year-round packages for all levels of surfers, from first time beginners to advanced. We offer all our services on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue as well as boat charters to surf other smaller islands. All our activities are limited to private groups so best to reserve in advance.
Our team focus on being safe, fun and educational. We always choose the ideal spot based on your fitness and experience levels. We have more than 10 years’ experience teaching surfing all over the Seychelles islands.
Private Beginner Surf Lesson
Learn to surf with our internationally qualified surf instructors. No prior experience surfing is needed although a basic level of fitness is required to enjoy the session. We provide all the necessary equipment needed including beginner softboards, rash vests and safety shoes. We spend 15 minutes on the sand learning the basics about the waves we will be surfing, safety, paddling, stand up and balance before we get in the water. We start by pushing you onto some small waves where you get to experience the magical feeling of riding a wave. Once you get comfortable standing and surfing, we start to teach you how to choose and paddle onto your own waves. Safety is our priority, so we are alongside you the whole time you are in the water. Exact location will be communicated upon booking.

Intermediate Surf Lesson
Once you are confident in the water and can catch and pop up on your own, we start to work on making the most out of the waves. First part of the lesson is learning where to position ourselves on the line up and discussing wave selection. Second part is learning to manage speed and how and when to turn on our waves. Depending on your skills and preferences we can choose where to surf together.
